Earthquake in Italy pushes iSeismometer to #3 in App store

I noticed something interesting in our daily downloads for the past few days. Our free Application iSeismometer has been downloaded like 4000+ times a day.

I thought it might be due to a blog entry posted somewhere, but when i looked at ratings on the U.S iTunes store it was still at 30th place in the Education category. Then kiichi reminded me to check the downloads per country and most of the downloads were from italy.

We are #3 in the Italian app store ratings for free apps. On the other hand I feel bad for the victims of the earth quake.
