April Fools 2014: Jokes You May Have Missed
Some companies go all out on April Fools Day. Here are some of the pranks you may have missed this year!
Google Maps Pokemon Challenge The mapping service added Pokemon to their mobile Maps app that users could catch to fill up a Pokedex. Netflix Rotisserie Chicken Movie The streaming media company added an original movie about Rotisserie Chicken. ObjectGraph’s Geo Bugger The mobile development company announced another app to their GIS line, Geo Bugger, which allows users to track and snoop on anything with a snap of a photo. YouTube’s New Trends The video sharing website released a video suggesting they are responsible for all of the viral videos on their site. They also announced the upcoming trends for this year, including Clocking, Shaming Babies, Glub Glub Water Dance, Kissing Dad, and more.
Gmail Shelfies The email service added a Shelfie feature, which allowed users to take selfies and set them as their background themes. Asana’s Snaptask The teamwork communication and task manager company added Snaptasks as a task option. These new tasks combine their normal task feature with Snapchats by making them disappear after 10 seconds. Chili’s Ice Cream The restaurant chain created it’s own line of ice cream based off popular menu items. Flavors include Nacho Queso Crunch, Baby Back Chunk, and Buffalo Brownie Sundae.
